The crypto industry arouses avid interest among celebrities, including popular actors. Maisie Williams, starring as Arya Stark in the TV epic drama series Game of Thrones, is thinking about bitcoin investments. The actress launched a poll among her followers on Twitter whether they approve of the idea of investing in the most popular cryptocurrency. Her tweet collected votes from 650,369 fans. 

The feedback divided into polar opposite viewpoints. 50.7% of them encouraged the actress to venture into investment in the digital currency. 49.3% of respondents advised her against long bets on BTC.          

Interestingly, crypto heavyweights also gave Maisie Williams their expert advice. One of them, Grayscale founder Barry Silbert invited the movie star to check out this opportunity with his investment firm. Peter McCormack, who is the host of the What Bitcoin Did podcasts, also advocates for crypto investments. He suggested that the actress would be able to benefit from the number one crypto currency.

Apart from the view in favor of bitcoin, some followers warned her against this idea. Opponents of the virtual currency even termed such investments madness, ecological catastrophe, etc. Sceptics say that extreme volatility of crypto assets make BTC investments quite risky. Besides, they reckon it is complicated to predict a BTC dynamic.
